• Community Preservation Act funding proposal for garden expansion, due Nov.1, 2021 for <br />consideration at Spring 2022 Town Meeting —Virginia Scharfenberg <br />Grants are due 11/1/21. We currently have about $8k left in our account, Catherine Laurent <br />from DPW said we could count on about $15,000 or more depending on what we'd get for <br />estimates. <br />We should contact Vejay Enright for an estimate for fence expansion. <br />Ms. Scharfenberg said we need to discuss the number and size of beds so she can have Tyler <br />can make plans to give to Steve Fernandes for an estimate for bed construction. We could ask <br />current gardeners if they would like to downsize and use smaller beds. Current gardeners <br />would get 1st choice in bed size. <br />• Final decision on Garden Plot Wait List that has been ongoing, starting our first season in <br />2020. Procedure for contacting Wait List people to see if still interested and the assigning of <br />available plots in 2022. <br />Current gardeners can pay their renewal fee by 3/31/22 to guarantee their plot for the 2022 <br />season. We will wait until we have beds available before we contact people on the waitlist. <br />Ms. Carberry and Ms. Harris will help contact the waitlist. <br />We will get 2022 parking passes. <br />• What to do about compost bins.
