R Mashpee Select Board Minutes March 21, 2022 APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS Appointments: (continued) Americans with Disabilities Act Committee: Colleen Meehan Merrill Blum, Terms Expire June 30, 2022: After interviewing two candidates at their February 10, 2022 meeting it is the unanimous recommendation of the Americans with Disabilities Act Committee (ADA) to appoint Colleen Meehan and Merrill Blum to the two current Member at Large vacancies with terms to expire; June 30, 2022. Letters of interest were received from the Mashpee residents who are both well experienced for membership. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to appoint Colleen Meehan and Merrill Blum to the Americans with Disabilities Act Committee as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Opposed, none Mashpee Election Wardens: George Schmidt Meredith Kilpatrick Andrew Varelas: Terms Expire March 31, 2025: Correspondence was received from Deborah F. Dami, Town Clerk dated March 9, 2022 recommending the appointment of Mashpee Election Wardens. Three highly competent voters submitted letters of interest to become a part of the electoral process. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to appoint George Schmidt, Meredith Kilpatrick and Andrew Varelas as Election Wardens with terms to expire; March 31, 2025. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Opposed, none Discussion and Approval of Amendment of Board of Selectmen Policy #050 — Discriminatory Harassment: The Mashpee Select Board reviewed Discriminatory Harassment Policy No. 050 recommended for updates to ensure compliance by Kimberly A. Landry, Human Services Director. Content updates as proposed have been reviewed to form by Town Counsel Patrick J. Costello. This includes the policy title change to "Anti - Discrimination and Anti -Harassment Policy, including Sexual Harassment." Updates were identified and attached to the correspondence dated March 17, 2022. Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve Policy No. 050 as amended. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton.
