Seconded by
Mr. Callahan. All in favor.
PUBLIC DISCUSSION
Patrick Brady- He looked at the minutes and packet of materials being distributed for the meeting.
After reading that, he would like an explanation as to how any applicant can have any confidence they
will receive a fair and impartial hearing for their application. The information was over 50 pages. It
confirms a sitting member had a predetermined opposition to an applicant coming before this Board.
She organized, led, and participated in events for the sole purpose to oppose to applicants. He finds
the items titled "fact sheet" troubling, as these fact sheets were inaccurate. Rather than allow Mashpee
residents to learn about the project and decide for themselves, a member of the Board took it upon
herself to undermine that process. She obstructed and disrupted hearings so information could not get
to the citizens of Mashpee. He goes on to remind the Board members they took an oath to be fair and
impartial. The credibility has been compromised. As long as she is on this Board it is unlikely an
applicant will get a fair and impartial review of their application and that is a disservice to the people of
Mashpee.
