Chair,the late Alice Borden,who passed away in 2017, best at what you do,and the services you provide to the <br /> only days before the ceremony. Alice's take charge Library, and to the Town and its residents are <br /> attitude masked a kind-hearted soul who was deeply unparalleled. We thank you for your efforts! <br /> committed to the Library. Together,she and Ed were a <br /> dynamic duo whose contributions helped to maintain The brave men and women across the street at the <br /> Library services for many years. Mashpee Fire and Police Stations are always on duty, <br /> watch over us,keep us all safe,and are always prepared <br /> Through the support of the Friends,and the funds to answer the call. We are fortunate to have them as <br /> they raise from community donations, we are able to colleagues and friends. In June we collaborated with the level of service possible for our residents.Meeting the <br /> Mashpee Council on Aging to hold the first ever joint competing needs of a diverse community is no small <br /> Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the Senior Center feat, and we are grateful to be recognized and valued <br /> to celebrate the community wide commitment to for our contributions and will continue to strive to meet <br /> service, and honor the special men and women who the expectations of the Town and our residents. <br /> deserve our gratitude and respect. <br /> The Library and the service it provides is truly a <br /> Library Trustee Carlo D'Este concluded his reflection of the staff who report to work each day with <br /> tenure on the Board in 2017, stepping down after 20 the simple goal of helping our patrons and residents. <br /> years of service to the community. Total Borrowers 17,123 <br /> Total Circulation 221,466 <br /> Since the new building opened in 2010,we have Number of Children's Programs 345 <br /> continued to grow, expand, and meet new challenges Attendance Children's Programs 8,751 <br /> and opportunities as we strive to provide a welcoming Number of Adult Programs 84 <br /> and comfortable space and offer current and emerging Attendance Adult Programs 747 <br /> services. We have not achieved our goals without the Number of Volunteers 52 <br /> support of many other Town departments.
