Acting Harbormaster John Santangelo reports <br /> that 571 moorings were issued in 2018. A new Report of the <br /> computerized mooring management system, Planning Department <br /> MooringInfo, is being implemented with on-line <br /> capabilities that will improve access and efficiency for <br /> the Harbormaster and the public. The aging To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and Citizens <br /> Harbormaster fleet was upgraded with a new 24'patrol of the Town of Mashpee: <br /> boat with full functionality compared to the boat that <br /> was replaced. The Planning Board is honored to submit its 2018 <br /> Annual Report.Responsible for promoting the health, <br /> Thank you to the citizens,boards,commissions, safety,convenience, and welfare of the inhabitants of <br /> boards, and departments of the Town of Mashpee as Mashpee,and for the oversight and coordination of the <br /> well as AmeriCorps Cape Cod, Barnstable County long-term planning of the Town, the Planning Board <br /> Cooperative Extension, Friends of Santuit Pond, the met twenty-two times to discuss and act upon various <br /> Mashpee Environmental Coalition,the Massachusetts Special Permits, Special Permit Modifications, <br /> Division of Marine Fisheries, the Mashpee Approval of Performance Guarantees, Definitive <br /> Wampanoag Tribe Natural Resources Department,and Subdivision Plans,and Approval Not Required(ANR) <br /> the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth SMAST Plans in 2018. Considerable time was also spent <br /> for support and collaboration during the year. considering the most advantageous approach to the <br /> proposed expansion of the Mashpee Commons <br /> Respectfully submitted, development and several bylaw amendments. <br /> Richard York <br /> The Planning Board members are Mary Waygan, <br /> Director <br /> Chair and Representative of the Board on the <br /> Community Preservation Committee; Joseph <br /> Cummings,Vice Chair and Representative of the Board <br /> on the Environmental Oversight Committee as well as <br /> on the Design Review Committee; David Kooharian, <br /> Clerk and Representative of the Board on the MMR <br /> Military Civilian Community Council; David Weeden, <br /> Member and Representative of Mashpee Wampanoag <br /> Tribal Council and the Cape Cod Commission;Dennis <br /> Balzarini,Member and Representative of the Board on <br /> the Historic District Commission; and Robert Hansen, <br /> Associate Member. <br /> In 2018 we Town <br /> welcomed Evan Lehrer as T 0 0 <br /> Planner. We wish Administrative Assistant Maria Silva <br /> the best as she left the Planning Department to join the <br /> Barnstable County Department of Human Services. <br /> The Board would like to acknowledge Consulting <br /> Engineer Charles Rowley and Board Secretary Jennifer <br /> Clifford for their support of the Board. <br /> Lastly, we acknowledge the Mashpee residents <br /> who took the time to offer comments to the Board on <br /> numerous issues.
