Extra-Curricular Offerings Mashpee Middle/High School continues to work to <br /> Grade 7 and 8 Clubs/Organizations support students to be successful in high school while <br /> Art Club Media Production Club educating them on the college and career process. <br /> Band National Junior Honor Society Mashpee Middle/High School graduated 97 students <br /> Blue Falcon Theater Company Peer Leaders in 2018. MMHS seniors were very competitive as <br /> Builder's Club Student Council they pursued admission to 106 colleges or universi- <br /> Magic the Gathering Club Student Government ties. <br /> Makerspace Club <br /> Grade 9-12 Clubs/Organizations Academic achievement and rigor continue to be a <br /> A Capella Chorus Magic the Gathering Club focal point of our work at MMHS. MMHS offers fourteen <br /> Jazz Band World Language Club Advanced Placement Courses in addition to a full <br /> Key Club Yearbook slate of fine art and music programming as well as <br /> LGBTQ Club many other unique programs through our Career and <br /> Technical Education Programs. Another highlight <br /> Athletics was the introduction of W6panaak Pasuq I <br /> Mashpee Middle/High School offers interscholastic (Wampanoag Language 1) to our World Language <br /> athletics at the Middle and High School levels. Curriculum. In partnership with the Mashpee <br /> Offerings at the MS level include football, boys and W6panaak Language Reclamation Project and <br /> girls soccer,field hockey,cross country,boys and girls Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe,MMHS became the first <br /> basketball,boys and girls track,baseball,softball,and public high school in Massachusetts, and one of the <br /> boys and girls tennis. High School offerings include first in the nation, to offer an indigenous language as <br /> field hockey, football, boys and girls cross country, part of the curriculum. The course is taught by tribal <br /> boys and girls soccer, co-ed golf, cheerleading, boys language scholars Melanie Roderick and Nitana Hicks <br /> and girls basketball,boys and girls ice hockey, co-ed Greendeer. MMHS continues to grow its innovative <br /> gymnastics, boys and girls track, baseball, softball, programming for students. <br /> boys and girls lacrosse,and boys and girls tennis.
