During the fiscal year 2020,there were a total of 25 <br /> homeroom classes representing six homerooms in <br /> Our mission at the Quashnet School is to provide Grades 3-5 with seven homerooms in Grades 6.Taking <br /> academic excellence and character development while pride in maintaining small class sizes, the average <br /> supporting and celebrating all students as they strive student to teacher ratio is 19:1. The faculty was forty- <br /> toward college and career readiness,as well as,engage four teachers strong, consisting of both regular <br /> as active citizens. education teachers, special education teachers, and <br /> specialized teachers. Other professional staff included <br /> Administration three school counselors, a therapy dog, one part-time <br /> MaryKate O'Brien, Principal physical therapist,one part-time occupational therapist, <br /> Stephen Kapulka, Assistant Principal 1.5 speech and language therapists, and one school <br /> psychologist. Quashnet School also valued a team of <br /> Curriculum Chairs ten paraprofessionals in FY20. Together, we all work <br /> Colleen Stroshine, English Language Arts toward one goal to provide students with a strong <br /> Robin Geggatt and Sarah Scott, Mathematics educational foundation which builds on students' <br /> Jamie Whiddon and Colleen Blount, Science primary instruction and prepares students for the <br /> Lucinda McKay and Alexandra Keohane,History and opportunities and academic challenges at Mashpee <br /> Social Studies Middle-High School. <br /> School Council Members At Quashnet School we educate the whole child <br /> MaryKate O'Brien, Principal by supporting academic advancement, social and <br /> Cathy Lewis, Parent emotional growth,and by fostering civic responsibility <br /> Tracey Fischer, Parent in students. <br /> Ericka Porter, Faculty <br /> Robin Geggatt, Faculty A Multi-Tiered System of Support(MTSS)is the <br /> instructional framework followed at the Quashnet <br /> Parent Teacher Organization School. We monitor student success by establishing <br /> Amber Smith, President student goals and regularly conducting progress <br /> Kimberly Schafer, Vice President monitoring benchmarks.
