Explanation: This article is necessary to pay bills Article 4 <br /> received after the end of a previous fiscal year. <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate and transfer from <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of the Transportation Network Company Per Ride <br /> Article 2 by a vote of 5-0 Assessment (TNC) Receipts Reserved Fund, the sum <br /> of $5,275 to the Department of Public Works Road <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Maintenance Account,or take any other action relating <br /> Article 2 by a vote of 7-0 thereto. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara Submitted by the Finance Director <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:23 PM Explanation: Under Chapter 187 of the Acts of 2016, <br /> certain transportation network companies must submit <br /> Article 3 to the Transportation Network Company Division of <br /> the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), the number <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer of rides from the previous calendar year that originated <br /> pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L.C.44B,§6 to reserve within each city or town and a per-ride assessment of <br /> from the Community Preservation Fund Budgeted for $0.20. The assessment is credited to the <br /> Appropriation Reserve,the following amounts: Commonwealth Transportation Infrastructure Fund and <br /> each year, one half of the amount credited to the fund <br /> $32,620 10% Open Space/Recreation Purposes is distributed by the DPU to each city and town based <br /> $32,620 10%Historic Purposes on the number of rides that originated in that city or <br /> $32,620 10%Affordable Housing Purposes town. When received, the Town is required to deposit <br /> the funds into a special revenue receipts reserved <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. account which must then be appropriated through a <br /> vote at town meeting.
