Mary Ann Romero,Administrative Secretary <br /> Charlie has been with the Mashpee Building Kevin Connolly, Plumbing Inspector <br /> Department since November 2004. Charlie has an Victor Devine, Wiring Inspector <br /> immense knowledge of the MA Building Codes,Flood <br /> Zone requirements and local by-laws.If he didn't have <br /> the answer to your question he know exactly where to <br /> find it for you.The Building Department would like to <br /> say Thank You Charlie, you will be missed. Have a <br /> wonderful retirement! We hope soon you will be able <br /> to travel about the US without fear of COVID-19. <br /> Unfortunately due to COVID-19 Charlie was <br /> recognized by a very small group as"Employee of the <br /> Year". He was presented with a nice plaque and kind <br /> words from Town Manager, Rodney Collins, <br /> recognizing the hard work and dedication Charlie put <br /> in especially over the last 3 years when we were <br /> without a Commissioner and dealing with COVID. <br /> Congratulations! <br /> J. 1 <br /> The Building Department had another record year <br /> with close to 1000 building permits being issued which <br /> is 168 permits more than last year.We also issued 750 <br /> Residential Short Permits(siding,roofing,window and <br /> door replacements) which is 193 more than last year. -_ <br /> Electrical,Plumbing and Gas have also well exceeded <br /> last year's totals. While residential building and <br /> renovations in Town has been booming, commercial <br /> has slowed down. Mashpee Commons has had several <br /> 89 <br />
