Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />August 8, 2022 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Discussion <br />_.........a.n.__d. Aplroval..gf Inter-MuniciraAgreement Between Town of MashwrvWr <br />District <br />The Intermunicipal Agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Mashpee Water District was presented to <br />the Select Board for approval. The Act authorizes the Assessors of the Town of Mashpee to act as District <br />Assessors, and the Tax Collector of the Town of Mashpee to act as District Tax Collector to provide assessing <br />and tax collection services to the Mashpee Water District for a three-year period commencing on July 1, 2022 <br />and ending June 30, 2025. <br />The document has been reviewed to form by Town Counsel. <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to approve the Inter -Municipal Agreement between the Town of <br />Mashpee and Mashpee Water District as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br />Discussion A rovaI & Recommendations wonmDraft #2 of the October 17 2022w Town_Meetin Warrant <br />The Mashpee Select Board conducted a brief review of Draft #2 of the October 17, 2022 Town Meeting <br />warrant. It was noted that Town Counsel has reviewed the warrant articles with comments and edits <br />incorporated into the articles. There are fifteen articles, 14 from Departments and 1 Petition article. <br />It was agreed the Select Board would meet with the Town Planner and Planning Board Chair as well as the <br />Director of Natural Resources, Conservation Agent and Treasurer/Tax Collector at the next meeting. <br />Comments from individual Select Board members are requested to be forwarded directly to the Town Manager <br />copied to the Assistant Town Manager. <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to table the review and action on the October 17, 2022 warrant to <br />the next Select Board Meeting. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br />
