16 Great Neck Road North
Mashpee, .Massachusetts 02649
Conservation Committee, for the purchase of 8 acres
at 751 Rt. 130 that abuts Pickerel Cove Conservation
Area. It is an application the Planning Board
recommends and is time sensitive.
Design Review- Met August 16t" at 502 Main St. for NAPA Auto.
Applicant was seeking a change of use to allow
operation under 2 sections of zoning bylaw, a
commercial and wholesale operation. They were
looking to put up 2 signs, one sign is a NAPA sign
that is currently at the Hyannis store, which is now
closed. It is 10 x 7.5 ft. which would be in violation of
size. A free standing sign, zoning says cannot exceed
40 s.f. and no closer than 5 ft. to any lot line and can't
block sight line. It's approved pending a new sign, set
back, and appropriate lighting. Also not allowed to
light sign from interior.
Plan Review- Reviewed same project noted above. A change of use
with no modifications of existing site plan and no
exterior work to the building, all work is happening
inside. It is in C3 but the initial permit was issued by
the ZBA so they are the permit granting authority.
Comments are code related and this was approved
conditional upon building and fire department matters
to be rectified, minimal issues and recommended
approval.
Environmental Oversight Committee- No Meeting
Historic District Commission- No Meeting
Harbor Management Plan Committee- No Meeting
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION:
Mr. Balzarini made a motion to adjourn the meeting of the Planning Board at 8:43p.m.
Seconded by Ms. Faulkner. All in favor.
Next Meeting: September 07, 2022 at 7:OOp.m.
18
