12 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />September 12, 2022 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Discussion,Actionand Execution of theMOctober 17�, 2022 Annual Town Meeting Warrant:. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve and execute the October 17, 2022 Annual Town Meeting <br />Warrant as amended. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Opposed, none <br />It was suggested the Select Board place the Affordable Housing Committee vacancy on the agenda, a topic that <br />was initially on the agenda, but removed. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to place the Affordable Housing Committee vacancy on the agenda for <br />discussion and possible vote. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />There was no vote. <br />Chairman Weeden indicated it is the purview of the Select Board Chair to set the agenda. It is the <br />recommendation of Selectman Weeden to defer any decision on this matter until there is a full voting quorum of <br />the Select Board. It was also stated the Select Board has a lengthy agenda to conduct this evening. <br />Discussion followed regarding protocol. Town Manager Rodney C. Collins indicated he would refer this matter <br />to legal counsel. <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />51 ecial Events,: The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce is hosting Business After Hours at the Cahoon Museum <br />on Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. <br />Three new businesses opened in the Town of Mashpee. Selectman Cotton attended the opening ceremonies for <br />all three establishments on behalf of the Mashpee Select Board representing the Town of Mashpee. <br />TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br />Wastewater Plan: It was announced the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) submitted communication to <br />the Town authorizing the award of contract to Robert B. Our of Harwich, MA, the lowest, responsive bidder for <br />collection, and to Waterline Industries of Seabrook, NH for treatment. <br />The bidding and project schedule for Phase I will be further detailed at a future agenda. <br />
