The proposed <br />improvements would include accommodations for pedestrians and bicyclists as well as alterations to <br />the road's configuration. <br />The Hearing notice was read aloud into the record for informational purposes. It was noted that <br />conceptual plans will be presented at the Hearing and available in the Office of the Town <br />Manager/Select Board and at the Mashpee DPW for viewing. <br />Carleton Hendricks, Vice -chair of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe indicated the Tribe received grant <br />funding several years ago to conduct a road safety study in the Town of Mashpee. As a result of the <br />recent pandemic and other variables, the project was placed on hold. Since 2018 the plan earmarked <br />the necessity for road safety improvements on Old Barnstable Road in the area of Breezy Acres and the <br />Mashpee-Falmouth Town line. <br />
