C7 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />December 19, 2022 <br />Discussion and.A rovatwofwSeventh Amendment to Memorandum of Understandin between the <br />MashPee Wamanoa Tribe and the Town of Mashtlee ,Massachusetts for the Provision of Fire <br />Protection and Emergency Medical Services and Law Enforcement Mutual mAid Assistance. <br />The Seventh Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Mashpee Wampanoag <br />Tribe and the Town of Mashpee for the provision of Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services <br />and Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Assistance entered into by and between the Tribe and the Town on <br />January 11, 2016 was presented to the Select Board for approval. <br />Town Counsel Patrick J. Costello was noted to have modified the language. The document was <br />forwarded to the Tribe and duly adopted by affirmative vote on December 9, 2022. <br />Motion made by Selectman Wyman -Colombo to authorize the Town Manager to execute the <br />Memorandum of Agreement as presented on behalf of the Mashpee Select Board. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes <br />Opposed, none <br />k, , _ der Canew Reional Transfer Station Intermunicipal <br />Discussion and A royal of Amendment to U <br />AreementgIMA for the_Upper,Calle Regional Transfer StationUCTRS);, <br />DPW Director Catherine Laurent: <br />Acting on the recommendation of Patrick J. Costello, Counsel for the Upper Cape Regional Transfer <br />Station (UCRTS) Board of Managers, the Select Board took action to allow the Town of Bourne to <br />withdraw from the UCRTS Intermunicipal Agreement (IMA), and also to vote to extend the IMA <br />amongst the remaining three towns, Falmouth, Sandwich and Bourne. The three member towns have <br />taken the recommended action. <br />Motion made by Selectman Wyman -Colombo to move that the Board approve an Amendment to <br />the Intermunicipal Agreement among the Towns of Falmouth, Sandwich, Mashpee and Bourne <br />for The Maintenance and Operation of a Regional Municipal Services Facility at The Joint Base <br />Cape Cod, dated July 1, 2018, for the purpose of effecting the Town of Bourne's withdrawal from <br />the Intermunicipal agreement prior to the December 31, 2022 Agreement termination date. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes <br />Opposed, none <br />
