Mr. Rowley inquired as to whether or not there are any existing layout issues with <br /> respect to Route 28, such as portions of the rotary area(Steeple Street,Rotary, <br /> Quinaquisset Avenue)that are identified by the State as"no access", or areas that are <br /> unsuitable for access. <br /> Mr. Storrs agreed to provide this information. <br /> The Town,Planner reminded the Board that Town Zoning prohibits curb cuts <br /> within 600-ft. of the center of the rotary. <br /> The Chairman made reference to a written comment by Mr. Rowley suggesting <br /> that a natural features plan be provided that would include topography,vegetative cover, <br /> wetland, existing streets, and points of existing access for evaluation purposes. <br /> Mr. Storrs has provided this information at the last meeting;references were made <br /> to "Existing Conditions Mashpee Commons Master Plan". <br /> However,Mr. Rowley did not receive this information. Mr. Storrs agreed to <br /> provide copies. <br /> The decision was made to address the issue of traffic at the next meeting, August <br /> 20,2008 at 6:00 p.m.; and water resources for September 3, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Dennis Balzarini suggested that perhaps a site visit to Trout Pond would be in <br /> order at some point. <br /> (This matter concluded at 7:18 p.m.) <br /> Overview Presentation <br /> Heather Me Elroy—Cape Cod Commission <br /> Endorsement-Regional Land Use Vision Map-Mashpee <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order,recognized Heather McElroy and asked <br /> her if any changes have been made to the map since the last time the Planning Board <br /> reviewed/approved this matter. <br /> Ms. McElroy stated that the only change made to the map has been to the MMR, <br /> Industrial Trade Area. <br /> The Town Planner stated his,uncertainty about whether or not the Town should <br /> support an Industrial Trade area that would compete with the Town's Industrial Trade <br /> area and which does not access or benefit the Town in any respect.
