Lehrer: (continued) <br />The Planning Board was noted to have debated the particulars associated to the Mashpee Solar Energy Bylaw. It <br />is important to protect the public health, safety and welfare. <br />Town Manager Rodney C. Collins strongly encouraged legal counsel be consulted regarding the conditions of the <br />special permit to protect the interests of the Town of Mashpee. <br />The Select Board took the following action; <br />Article 30: To amend Table of Use Regulations for the development of medium scale solar energy systems. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve and recommend May Town Meeting Article 30. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />Article 31: To amend Land Space Requirements Table for the development of solar energy systems. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve and recommend May Town Meeting Article 31. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />Article 32: To add new section: Solar Energy Systems to the Zoning Bylaws. <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve and recommend May Town Meeting Article 32. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman, <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />
