8 <br />Mashpee Select Board -Affordable Housing Trust <br />Minutes <br />June 26, 2023 <br />Discussion and Possible Vote to Authorize a Traffic Im pact Assessment for 209 Old Barnstable Road; <br />_.....................ww.................................................._.._...........n..........__....._ _._.._....__.._....._�.�.�...m._................M..._............_..._...................._.w.wM............ww..........................................w <br />(continued) <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to authorize a Traffic Impact Assessment study for the <br />purposes of understanding traffic impacts created or exacerbated by a 48 bedroom affordable <br />housing development at 209 Old Barnstable Road, and further to propose solutions to mitigate <br />those impacts by making recommendations that are intended to improve vehicular and <br />pedestrian safety on Old Barnstable Road between Route 151 and Great Neck Road North and <br />Lowell Road to Old Barnstable Road consistent with the study prepared by Horsley & Witten for <br />a sum limit up to $20,000. Analysis of an Affordable <br />Housing De�ent at„the "VFW Site" (Mal 62 Parcel 67); (continued) <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to move forward with a Feasibility Analysis at the VFW Site. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />The Motion was withdrawn. <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to request staff to draft an RFQ for the VFW Site (Map 62, <br />Parcel 67), to bring back to the Affordable Housing Trust with a contemplated estimate.
