19 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 26, 2023 <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Head rof the„Ponds, Regatta: Se tember 10 2023 Sw 30-10:30 am A_4quin Park: Alan Robinson: <br />Special Event: <br />Mashpee resident Mary Waygan indicated the Head of the Ponds Regatta planned on September 10, <br />2023 at Attaquin Park has a potential conflict with the Save Mashpee Wakeby Pond Alliance Splash on <br />the same date as it relates to parking for this event. <br />Although the Head of the Ponds Regatta is held from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in advance of the Splash <br />event, the Select Board held approval for further clarification of the two functions. <br />COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br />PetitionwithRegard to Mashpee Neck Road Speed Limit: For informational purposed it was noted the <br />Select Board has received a Petition with regards to the Mashpee Neck Road Speed Limit. The petition <br />signed by 37 residents of Mashpee Neck Road are concerned about the constant speed limit violations. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />2023-2024 Select Board,Liaison Assigr�,r�;lents:,,,,Select Board Chair John Cotton: <br />The Select Board reviewed the updated 2023-2024 Liaison Assigment List, amended to add the <br />Chamber of Commerce assignment to Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the 2023-2024 Select Board Liaison Assignment <br />List as amended. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />19 <br />
