21 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 26, 2023 <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />October Town Meetingµ Warrant: The Planning Board is continuing to work collaboratively on the <br />proposed new Raise and Replace Bylaw for the October 2023 Town Meeting warrant. <br />War Memorial Ceremony- The Select Board made note of the War Memorial Dedication <br />acknowledging the work of Catherine Laurent, the Director of Public Works and Historical <br />Commission member Richard DeSorgher. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Discussion ,of Strate ,y with Resrect_to_the Followin ,TerSonal Servi„ce Contracts: <br />Pursuant to M.G.L. C. 30A <br />Police Captain Thomas Rose <br />Fire Chief John Phelan <br />De ui hief Joselah Peltier <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to enter into Executive Session at 9:01 p.m. pursuant to <br />M.G.L. c. 30A §21(1)(2), for the purpose of discussing strategy regarding negotiations with <br />respect to the Personal Service Contracts of Police Captain Thomase Rose, Fire Chief John <br />Phelan and Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Peltier, where an Open Meeting may have a detrimental <br />effect on the negotiating position of the Town, from which the Board will reconvene in Open <br />Session. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathleen M.
