Public Comment: ' Ms. Conn introduced Chris Gallagher, Town Engineer to discuss the
installation of the town sewer line across Mashpee I lousing Authority property located at I
Carleton Drive. He shared a drawing of where and how both the easement across the
property and the connection to Mashpee Housing Authority property could be tied into the
sewer plant. The initial tie-in to the sewer is for individual homeowner's, but tieing in the
apartment complex would give the town an initial inflow of approximately 9,000 gallons.
The installation process would be approximately three years from now, and this topic will be
discussed at the next sewer commissions meeting at 2:00 pm on 10/21/2 1. The board
unanimously agreed that this would be a win -win for both the town and the housing
authority. On a motion by Kevin Shackett, seconded by Lisa Meizinger the board
moved to approve the tie-in to Town Sewer, and the connection of Sea Oaks across the
edge of the property, as well as for Kimberly Conn, and one board member to continue
discussions with the town.
