IV. Outreach to Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal the Mashpee Housing Production Plan ("HPP"). The <br /> Housing Commission HPP is designed to address the extent of the town's <br /> In September, the Committee undertook a new affordable housing shortage: who needs affordable <br /> initiative. The new Committee Tribal member, housing and how much has to be built to meet the 10% <br /> Stephanie Coleman and the Committee Chairperson, goal mandated by the Chapter 40B law. The effort to <br /> Allan Isbitz, together with the Town Planner, Evan update the HPP is expected to take most of 2023 to <br /> Lehrer, met with the Tribal Housing Commission complete. It must be approved by the Planning Board, <br /> and the Director of the Tribe's Housing Department, the Select Board and then submitted to DHCD for its <br /> Michelle (Shellie) Tobey. First to be appointed <br /> Noel <br /> le the Select Board was Kayla Bader, an affordable Kayla <br /> Pine,Vice Chairperson <br /> K <br /> housing professional who is now the Assistant Kayla Barer, Clerk <br /> Director of Development at the Housing Assistance Stephanie Coleman,Member <br /> Gary Shuman,Member <br /> Corporation. The second appointment was Stephanie <br /> Coleman, a Tribal member who works in the Town <br /> Manager's office, and in this capacity promises to be <br /> a very effective liaison between the Tribal Housing <br /> Commission and the Mashpee Affordable Housing Report of the <br /> Committee. The Third appointment was Gary Shuman Americans With Disabilities <br /> who has a business background and an engineering Act Committee <br /> education, and is now a real estate broker. The <br /> three new Committee members together significantly <br /> improve the Committee capacity to broaden outreach <br /> and support for affordable housing, while increasing To the Honorable Select Board and the Citizens of the <br /> the ability to identify fresh approaches in housing Town of Mashpee <br /> policy. The Committee now has 2 persons who are The Mashpee Americans with Disabilities Act <br /> affordable housing professionals, 2 persons with Committee's objective is to actively pursue efforts to <br /> business backgrounds and an involvement with improve access to public and private buildings and <br /> businesses on Cape Cod,and 1 person who is a member facilities in Mashpee for persons with disabilities.The <br /> of the Wampanoag Tribe. committee is tasked with increasing awareness of ADA <br /> requirements on the part of the Town Officials, the <br /> VI. Building Bridges in Support of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce,business owner and managers, <br /> Housing Authority.
