One reason is <br />bringing boats in the ponds. Some people bring their boat for that reason, to flush the engines. <br />Mashpee Pond has already been closed twice. This is a new development for Mashpee <br />Wakeby Pond. <br />Mr. Lehrer restated that if someone goes to Poppy and then brings their boat to Mashpee <br />Wakeby, it is enforced. How do you know where the person was before the boat was in the <br />pond? <br />Ms. Waygan assumes the bacteria at Old Silver was E.coli. <br />TOWN PLANNER REPORT <br />Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee Public Workshop #2 <br />The workshop will be held Thursday, July 27th at 6:30p.m. There will be a press release to <br />notify stakeholders. Anyone who lives in low lying areas, they need more representation from <br />people that live near flooding roads. <br />Harbor Management Planning Committee New Seabury Workshop <br />This workshop is scheduled for July 13t", it was in The Enterprise. <br />Housing Production Plan Update <br />The Affordable Housing Committee is underway with consultants auditing the 2015 general <br />literature. There is a meeting on July 11t" with the AHC and consultants to layout process and <br />engagement. There will be more updates to come. He will need to coordinate with the Planning <br />Board to establish a joint meeting with the Select Board to get this adopted for submission to <br />the DHCD in September. He will look into the availability of the Select Board. A draft schedule <br />is being presented Tuesday at the AHC meeting. The grant needs to be submitted by <br />December. The purpose of meeting jointly will be to expedite. The Select and Planning Boards <br />should have a completed draft with a month long comment period prior to that meeting.
