12 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />July 17, 2023 <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />Zoning Board of Appeals: Sharon Sangeleer (Term Expires June 30, 2026): <br />Sharon Sangeleer was in attendance to review her interest in serving as a full member of the Zoning Board of <br />Appeals. Ms. Sangeleer indicated she has served as an Associate member of the ZBA for the past six years. <br />Her appointment was strongly recommended by the ZBA. Ms. Sangeleer is well qualified for the position. <br />Ms. Sangeleer holds a graduate certificate in Municipal Government, and a masters degree in Geography <br />with a concentration in planning, site location, GIS and demographics. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to appoint Sharon Sangeleer to full membership status on the <br />Zoning Board of Appeals. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />Discussion and Approval of the Following Special Events, Temporary Sign Permits, One Day Liquor <br />Licenses: <br />Special Event, One -Day Liquor License, Temporary Sign Permit: <br />Annual Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, December 9, 2023, 5:30-9 pm: <br />For clarification it was disclosed the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce is not seeking a One Day Liquor <br />License for the Annual Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. The application before the <br />Select Board is for the Special Event and Temporary Sign Permit only. <br />The rain date for this event is Sunday, December 10, 2023 for the 17'h Annual Christmas Parade scheduled to <br />take place within Mashpee Commons from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Special Event Application and Temporary Sign <br />Permit of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce for the Annual Christmas Parade as stipulated. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />
