Article 14: CPC Expenses <br /> The CPA legislation provides that 5% of the funds collected can be used for administrative, <br /> auditing, legal, engineering, or other associated costs incidental to the administration and <br /> oversight functions of the CPC. 'This Article requests approval to transfer$25,000 to the CPC <br /> Administrative and Operating Expense Account to cover the committee's secretarial support and <br /> other related expenses, <br /> The adoption of the Community Preservation Act provides municipalities, like Mashpee, the <br /> opportunity to fund on a"pay as you go basis" capital projects which would otherwise be <br /> deferred, not considered, or require long term debt financing to implement.
