They could have <br />been promised a sidewalk. <br />MOTION: <br />Ms. Waygan made a motion to hold a public hearing for the Ockway Highlands removal <br />of sidewalk on the subdivision plan. All in favor. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />N/A <br />CHAIRWOMANS REPORT <br />Ms. Faulkner stated the special election that was scheduled for November 7t" has been <br />changed to November 28t" from 7AM-8PM. There are plenty of ways for people to know, signs <br />are posted all around town and there is a robo call going out. There will also be a mailer going <br />to the head of household. The town website has all the information. Old ballots will be <br />discarded and a new ballot will be mailed. A `yes' vote on Article 1 would authorize the town to <br />borrow up to $4.5 Million and increase tax assessments on a temporary basis until bonds are <br />paid back, not to exceed five years, to fund the planning/designing of wastewater collection, <br />treatment, and effluent recharge initiatives. <br />TOWN PLANNER REPORT <br />Harbor Management Planning Committee Update <br />No Updates <br />Housing Production Plan Update <br />The second workshop was held last week, they are working through the development of needs <br />assessment and plans. The survey closed on October 30t" with a total of 309 responses. A few <br />more paper ones have trickled in. They will hold a meeting tomorrow with the Housing <br />Commission for the Tribe to discuss some issues, one being local preference. This will round <br />out the community engagement. Soon they will be ready to discuss the process for review and <br />adoption. <br />:l <br />
