The Affordable Housing Committee urges all <br />Planning Board members to participate. They will also be holding a subsequent virtual <br />workshop. Located on the Planning Department page, click the Community Education tab and <br />there you can find HPP fliers and press releases, any documents pertaining to the HPP. He <br />asked members to share the link. There will be a survey to support the update of the HPP, it <br />was reviewed and finalized last night with the AHC. The second workshops will be held at the <br />end of October. He will follow up at next meeting. <br />Mr. Balzarini wanted to note the jobs available in Mashpee and salaries. A one job income can <br />barely afford the affordable housing for $40,000 salaries. <br />Ms. Waygan stated the HPP is designed to meet the needs of our town. <br />Mr. Oakley noted we need to look to the future, people cannot afford to live here so they travel <br />from off Cape to work here. We need to worry about the cleanliness of our waters. <br />BOARD MEMBER COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cape Cod Commission- No Report <br />Community Preservation Committee- 6:30P.M. September 14t" at Town Hall. CPC money <br />can be used for affordable housing, historic <br />preservation, recreation, and open space. There will <br />be time for public comment on priorities for these <br />limited funds. <br />Design Review- No Meeting <br />Plan Review- No Meeting <br />
