Town of Mashplee Planning Board <br />16 Great Neck Road North <br />w <br />Mashpee, MA 02649 <br />Warrant Article _ <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 174.45.4: Accessory Apartments Subsection I of the <br />Mashpee Zoning Bylaw <br />This Article would require that any accessory apartment that is created be rented year-round. Current <br />Bylaw states that accessory apartments MAY be rented. This Article would require that they be <br />rented. Additionally, the current rental restriction prohibits rentals of accessory apartments of less <br />than 30 days. This would require property owners with accessory apartments rent wither the <br />principal dwelling or the accessory apartment for a period of not less than 12 months to be more <br />consistent with the purpose and intent of Section 174-45.4. <br />Warrant Article _ <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 174-24(C)(9)(g) Special Permit Use of the Mashpee <br />Zoning Bylaw <br />This Article proposes to modify the language of the Zoning Bylaw to clarify that if a special permit use <br />is to be expanded to cover additional land area, than the uses, dimensions, and other aspects of any <br />proposed development must comply with the most recently effected Zoning Bylaw.
