Recommendation to remove. <br />Motion made by Selectman Wyman -Colombo to remove Article 6. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br />VOTE: 5-0. Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes <br />Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Opposed, none <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />JBCC,_-„Militry Civilian wCommunity„Council: At the last meeting it was advised that it is necessary to <br />conduct a full environmental review anticipating a two-year permitting process before construction can <br />cominence on the Sagamore Bridge. <br />EOC: Representatives from the Mashpee Wakeby Lake Management Committee are expected to attend <br />the next Environmental Oversight Committee to discuss the potential to convert this committee to the <br />Mashpee Lake Committee. <br />A joint meeting is planned with Conservation and Planning to discuss the Open Space & Recreation Plan <br />to identify conservation lands that may be available for purchase. There is also an interest for the EOC to <br />review water quality reports. Collaboration and coordination efforts may open doors for additional grant <br />funding opportunities. <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />Assemble of DgJgggtes: Governor Healy has taken action to veto the proposed machine gun range on <br />JBCC. <br />Dia��ostic Po g nd„Study:, A brief discussion followed regarding the Diagnostic Pond Study approved and <br />funded in 2021. There have been unforeseeable delays in securing the data associated to the study to <br />complete the final report. An extension has been requested to December. The Town Manager was <br />requested to discuss this concern with Mr. Eichner and convey the level of frustration with the Select <br />Board in not receiving the results of the report which is stalling remediation efforts. <br />
