Witb the Select Board's approval, orange flags and banners would be placed in the outside areas of the Masbpee Rotary. Within the hiner circle a small dnimraing group is planned. For safiqy there will be Tribal police present. Recommendations for safety were noted to be discussed with the.Mashpee Police.Department., This is the third year of the event. 1,ast year, it was very successfitil with no reported incidents. Stipulations imposed by the DPW in accord. with policy state the flags shall.not be placed at the Rotary until Tuesday, September 24, 2024 and removed on September, 30, 2024 after the ev ent. The winning bid was received ffinn Fidelity, Capital Markets at a rate of`236%. The bc.)nds will be resized to use the prernium, less issuance co.,sts that was given to decrease the principal amounts. The premium was $440,966. 10, The 'fown of'Mashpee continues to maintain its .AA..A rating with Standard and Poor. The cn,idm ok. is stable with no, negative outlook. The S & P was noted to be. pleased witlihow the Pown is financially managed. Regarding the Town and its wastewater j1plan, there is confidence Mashpee wouldretain. the AA rating as a result of several factors including the policies in, place, the reserve levels and strong financial. team.
