Lee Smith will publicize information about how to apply for grants by press releases to local TV <br /> and radio stations and newspapers. Wendy Bornstein will look into updating the Council's <br /> Facebook page and adding an Instagram account. The council will maintain the email address <br /> mashpeeculturalcouncilC��i q:J1,.com as a contact for anyone who has questions. <br /> Review of 2023 Citizen Survey <br /> The council reviewed the Citizen Survey used in 2023 to elicit community member input about <br /> what arts and culture programs they would like to see funded. 'rhe survey will be distributed at <br /> Mashpee Night Out on August 7, 2024 and at the Senior Center and other town locations. On <br /> motion by Pamela Joseph, seconded by Diane Scott, it was unanimously voted to make format <br /> changes to simplify responses to the 2023 survey. The current Council brochure will also be <br /> reprinted and distributed. <br /> Schedule for 2024 Grant Cycle <br /> Lee Smith noted that the applications period for submitting grants runs from September 1, 2024 <br /> through mid-October. A set of the applications will be provided to council members by the <br /> Massachusetts Cultural Council. <br /> "Mashpee Night Out" Volunteers <br /> Council members were encouraged to attend "Mashpee Night Clint" on August 7, 2024, from 5:30 <br /> to 7:30 PM to help educate the public about the activities of the Council and to solicit <br /> community input. <br /> Vote on Candidates for Council Membership <br /> On motion by W.
