The sign
will be mounted on the front of the building that is located at 40 Evergreen Circle, Unit 1.
He gave some background information about the business and mentioned that this
location and building meets the square footage (just under 1,800 sq. ft.) requirement for
his business. There are four bays in this building, and his business will occupy the front
bay. He will be leasing the space from the Owner, Nick Pastore.
Mr. Connolly provided the Committee a brochure of the business named Fastsigns, and
a rendering consisting of a 40 sq. ft. dimensional sign that will be mounted above the
entrance of the building.
Mr. Morris interpreted that this application will require a Special Permit with the ZBA
because it is over 20 sq. ft. of the allowed size. He explained to Mr. Connolly that if he
reduces the size of the sign to 20 sq. ft. it would not require a meeting with the ZBA and
he could just apply for a building permit.
Mr. Furbush mentioned that there's a maximum amount of signage allowed on the
building to share the facade with other tenants.
1 of 2
