Acknowledgement was given to Gail <br />Wilson, the Ilumain Services Director, <br />Ms. Barbee also noted that a public forum on the property taxexernption will be held on Thursday, October I 01h at <br />than Mashpee Public L,ibrary at 6:00 pm. <br />With regards to vacancies, Ms. Barbee indicated the Town's website is a, valuable cot-nmunication device, and a <br />good recruit for better engagement. It was recommended that all -A,9 erida's be posted online. <br />LIAISON REPORT'S <br />Affordable f-lousirig; Land 'rrust/Land Bank public meeting will be held (,-.)n October '16111 at 5:30 p.m. at the <br />MashpeeTown 1.1all. Commissions Vacanev List: <br />The matter of vacancies on Boards, Committees and Commissions was discussed. There is also a need for private <br />contractors to assist with snow plowing. As a result, there is concern with respect to the impact on essential <br />services. <br />It was announced after many years of service, the Fire Chief, Jack Phelan is retiring. <br />The Historical Commission with funding from the Recreation Department will be placing a wreath on the One <br />Room Schoolhouse, a lighted display for the holiday season. Lamps will be lit and a spot light will enhance the <br />holiday d6cor in the Community Park. <br />
