Minutes of Meeting Design Review Committee Tuesday, November 19, 2024 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Design Review Committee Members Present: Dave Morris, Karen Faulkner, Carolyn Szarlan and Jonathan Furbush. Mr. Morris called the meeting to order at 8:30 am. NEW HEARINGS 8:30 am Project Address: 41 Evergreen Circle Business name: Govoni Forestry Products Agent: Mark Connolly with Fastsigns Request: 75 sq. ft. sign to be mounted on existing stone wall (Total wall area is 768 sq. ft.) Mr. Mark Connolly represented Govoni Forestry Products requesting a 75 sq. ft. sign to be mounted on an existing cement block wall located at 41 Evergreen Circle. The Govoni business provides site clearing and stores wood related products. The sign consists of 1/8tn aluminum that is power coated. The color coating is gold lettering with green trees around the name. The sign will not be internally lit, but will have a spot light mounted on the ground facing the sign. There is currently no sign located on the property, but there is a sign located on the existing ladder sign at the entrance to the street. The Committee had a question if the address was required on the sign itself. There is a shed located on the property but it was not clear if the address was affixed to the shed. Mr. Morris stated that under the building code, the address should be mounted on the building for the fire department. Mr. Connolly will confirm if the address is affixed to the shed. The Committee had no more questions. Ms. Faulkner made a motion to approve the sign located at 41 Evergreen Circle conditioned whether or not the address is in prominent view from the existing shed or to be affixed to the proposed sign or shed. Mr. Furbush second. All were in favor. i
