Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 3, 2016 and June 10, 2016 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Testa Motors MA, Inc. has a building permit for an educational gallery showroom <br /> occupying a 1,501 square foot space at 11 Central Square, Mashpee Commons, and they <br /> would like to apply for a car dealership license. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board <br /> Member, Dom DeBarros, and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley and Norman J. Gould. <br /> Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza. <br /> Attorney Mike Ford, Tom Feronti and John Renz all with Mashpee Commons <br /> represented the application for Testa. The Board had an informal meeting with Mashpee <br /> Commons at the hearings on May 25, 2016 to discuss the possibility of Testa becoming a <br /> licensed car dealership. Testa is currently permitted and occupying a unit located at 11 <br /> Central Square as a show room gallery only. Mr.Ford said he reviewed the Zoning Bylaws <br /> and discovered that a Special Permit for"use"is required for Testa to become an actual car <br /> dealership. The 1986 Special Permit (SP-86-04-024) specifically states that modifications <br /> need to be brought to the Zoning Board of Appeals. He said that Testa has applied for their <br /> Class I License and will be meeting with the Selectmen on July 11, 2016. <br /> 1 <br />
