Partnership'of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for the Modification of Special Permit -04-0 4 to <br /> provide for the expansion of space 8. 14 and to provide for the use of <br /> the space for retail sales in a C-1 zoning district on property . <br /> located at 38 Nathan Ellis Highway (Map 74, Bloch C Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. <br /> Not ice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General. Laws Chapter 40 . , Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of. general circulation in the 'Iowa of Mashpee <br /> on De ember 22 and December 29, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, .January 10, 1990 at ;30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. <br /> Hanrahan. <br /> Douglas Storrs of Fields Point represented the Petition. He <br /> informed the Board that they are proposing to add approximately <br /> 400 sf to the Gap retail store, He reviewed the site plans and <br /> explained that the space would be increased from 2,306 f to <br /> approximately 2,700 and that the design is consistent with the <br /> surrounding architecture. <br /> The Board determined that the use iis in harmony with the <br /> general purpose and intent of the By-laws and complies with the <br /> provisions thereof. <br /> i <br />
