Reilly Bk.: 35916 <br /> 15 Childs Road Pg.: 123 <br /> Map 114, Parcel 93 <br /> Mashpee,MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on September 12,2024 by Owner,Martin J.Reilly requesting a Special Permit <br /> under §174-17.1 and §174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to raze a pre-existing,nonconforming single- <br /> family residential structure and replace it with a new single-family residential structure with an <br /> attached garage on property located in an R-3 Zoning District,at 15 Childs Road,Map 114,Parcel <br /> 93, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. <br /> Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise,a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee,on September 20,2024 and September 27,2024 a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 9, <br /> 2024, at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present; Chairman, <br /> Ronald Bonvie, Board Members, William A. Blaisdell, Jonathan Furbush, Sharon Sangeleer and <br /> Associate Member,Charles Reidy. The hearing was continued to December 11,2024 to allow time <br /> for the Board members to review the supplemental information submitted by the applicant and his <br /> Attorney. <br /> On December 11, 2024,the continued hearing was opened, at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout; Chairman, Ronald Bonvie, Board <br /> Member, William A. Blaisdell, and Associate Board Members, George Ganzenmuller, Charles <br /> Reidy, and Robert Caggiano. Also present was David Morris,Building Commissioner. <br /> Attorney Christopher Kirrane represented Mr. Reilly,the applicant for the Special Permit, seeking <br /> to allow the raze and replace his house on 15 Childs Road. Also present was Mr. Tom Bunker with <br /> BSS Design, Mr. Roger Brooks and Mr. Joao Junqueira with Cape Wide Construction, Mr. Steve <br /> Cook, with Cotuit Bay Design, and Mr. Reilly, the homeowner. <br /> 1 <br />
