In support <br /> of the new business Mr. Murphy indicated the license is already held by the establishment,thus it should not <br /> be counted as a separate license since it is under the same license holder. The Select Board was requested to <br /> authorize an off-premise license under this unique circumstance, and not count this to the Town's quota. <br /> Discussion followed. There is concern with respect to setting precedent. The Town Manager was directed to <br /> consult Town Counsel with respect to this regard for further review at the next meeting. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to continue the Public Hearing on the application of Uva,Wine <br /> Boutique,20 North Street,Mashpee for a New Annual Wine & Malt Beverages Package Store License <br /> to Monday; February 24,2025. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: 4-0. Unanimous. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden, absent for vote <br /> Selectman Wyman-Colombo,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none <br /> Public Hearing_ Renewal of Aqyap41tprq Grant#013 Poi Qy§W.Q LC d Cook.Jr-.: <br /> ...................... <br /> The Select Board opened the Public Hearing on the application filed on November 13, 2024 by Richard J. <br /> ,Cook,Jr.,d/b/a Popponesset Oyster Company, LLC, 19 Pem Way, Mashpee for the renewal of Shellfish <br /> Grant 4013, Popponesset Bay 1.99 acres. <br /> The hearing notice was read into the record. Richard Cook,Jr. was in attendance to review the license <br /> request due to expire in January 2025. <br /> Chris Avis, Shellfish Constable and Peter Cook, Chair of the Shellfish Commission were in attendance for <br /> discussion purposes. <br /> Mr.Avis in his memo of January 15, 2025 recommended the renewal of the grant agreement. Mr. Cook is <br /> current with all fees required for the grant, and has met all the production values during the I 0-year grant. In <br /> accord with regulations,new licenses are granted for a 5-year period only. <br /> Being no public comment,the Select Board motioned as follows; <br />
