MINUTES November 18 , 1993 10 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 33' local variance from <br /> the on-site proposed leaching facility to abutting well, (#62 <br /> Surf Drive) , as requested with the stipulation the owner <br /> tie-in to public water once available, Mr. Doherty seconded. <br /> 10 PEQUOT COURT - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a <br /> preapproved subdivision with well and septic layouts. " <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 35' local variance from <br /> the proposed on-site well to the abutting leaching facility, <br /> ( lot 16A) , a 151 . local variance from the proposed on-site <br /> well to the proposed on-site leaching facility, a 23' local <br /> variance from the proposed on-site well to the abutting <br /> leaching facility, (lot 18A) , a 7' local variance from the <br /> proposed on-site well to the abutting leaching facility, (lot <br /> #19A) , a 28' local variance from the proposed on-site leach- <br /> ing facility to abutting well , ( lot #15A) , a 35' local vari- <br /> ance from the proposed on-site leaching facility to abutting <br /> well , ( lot #16A) and a 12' local variance from the proposed <br /> on-site leaching facility to abutting well, ( lot #10A) , with <br /> the stipulation the owner agree to tie-in to public water <br /> upon availability, Mr. Doherty seconded. <br /> FOR DISCUSSION <br /> DECEMBER 2; 1993 MEETING - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I did con- <br /> tact Jim Begley from D.E.P. , Bob Knorr from D.P.H. , Susan <br /> Nickerson from A.P.C.C. , George Heufelder from B.C.H.E.D. , <br /> and Roger 'Batnick, Otis Advisory Council member and all have <br /> agreed to attend the meeting. " <br /> TRASH BAGGING REQUIREMENT - Mr. Doherty relayed, "Mr. <br /> DiMaggio is requesting the Board adopt a policy whereby all <br /> residents would be required to use plastic bags to dispose of <br /> their household debris. " "Mr. DiMaggio stated when his men <br /> are compacting the trash it does become rather messy. " <br /> Mr. Greelish commented, "Mr. DiMaggio did discuss this <br /> matter with me previously. " "It is to restrictive to require <br /> all trash be disposed of in plastic bags. " <br /> Mr. Doherty recommended placing a sign in front of the <br /> Transfer Station which requests the use of plastic bags. " <br /> Mr. Greelish agreed. <br />
