Y MINUTES December 9, 1993 5 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 1994 Massage Facility license to Mr. Arlene Myers, d/b/a "Acupuncture Therapies" to include the remaining weeks in December 1993 , Mr. Ball sec- onded, all agreed. FOR DISCUSSION A. Landfill Closure Briefing, 12/14/93 - Mr. McQuaid re- layed, "The workshop is proposed to address the landfill cap- ping problems. " "A representative of Weston & Sampson has agreed to attend. " "The Executive Secretary has requested a Board member attend the meeting with him. " Mr. Doherty agreed to attend. B. Ashumet Road Clean-up - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The ten days had expired so I contacted the individual who was found to be illegally dumping in the Ashumet Road area. " "After a much heated discussion I suggested he contact the Chairman. " "Mr. Doherty spoke with the individual who stated he was not responsible for the illegally dumped material . " "In my opin- ion, the individual did not dump the debris and could not of-- ford to pay the fine. " "Mr. Doherty agreed, however informed the individual he is responsible for removal of the debris and would consult with the Board as to whether the fine would be rescinded. " "As of this afternoon the entire area has been cleaned up. " Mr. Ball motioned to rescind the Board's previous vote to issue a $300.00 citation, Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed.
