MrNLTTES June 29, 1995 6 BOARD OF HEALTH Mrs. Amaral responded, "The day after this letter was sent out which was dated the 15th, on the loth I received a letter from his Attorney, Mr. Whitt, engaged his service to have me evicted." Mr. Cram questioned, "For what reason?" Ms. Amaral responded, "The reasons are for renovation of the septic and increase in rent." Mr. Doherty stated, "I'm sorry I don't understand," "He wants you evicted because..." Ms. Amaral stated, "This problem, I talked to other people in the neighborhood, this problem is an ongoing problem. "It's not the first time it's been reported." "It was reported 1 1/2 years ago for the same problem." "What he did was remove this people from the house for six months, didn't do nothing about it and re-rented it after that." "It still had the same problems but the women who was in there prior to me struck a deal that her rent would be drastically lowered and she would have it pumped." "When I moved in on my Section 8 they told me I was on town sewage." "I didn't have a clue until my neighbor called me and said your cess garbage is flowing onto my property and across the street." "It's really very bad, I would not be here complaining." "My daughter is very, very ill from this." "She has an upper and lower respiratory problem from this, she is asthmatic." "The bugs, the tape shows very clearly, there are zillions of them." Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Orin was handling this and doing a good job until I got a call Monday around 5.00 from the Police Department indicating that raw sewage was running down the road." "I immediately got on the phone called ABCO, called Bousfield, called three or four pumping companies, this is after 5:00, and finally got a hold of Bortolotti." "One of his trucks came by." "I met the truck driver out there and he pumped out the tank." "There was at that time, the tank sits up right outside the front door of the house and property slopes down towards Timbe.rlane and the leaching facility, whatever it may be, is in the furthest corner of the property."
