Regional Septage Meeting, 11/14/95 @ 3:00 p.m. _ Mr. McQuaid and Mr. <br /> Doherty will attend. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Letter from Brockton Iron& Steel re: R uest to remove white goods <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Brockton Iron & Steel was the company who formerly <br /> removed our white goods." "They are now offering $25,00/ton vs. what we are now <br /> receiving which is $15.00/ton by PK Contracting." "They will remove the freon and <br /> capacitor's at no charge." "PK Contracting is curitntly charging us $5.00 per unit to <br /> remove the freon." "If you recall, the reason we switched from Brockton to PK <br /> Contracting was that each time Brockton Iron & Steel removed the white goods they <br /> wrecked the refrigerator's and discharged freon." "I would recommend we inform PK <br /> Contracting of the offer in case they would like to bid competitively." <br /> Board members agreed to direct the agent to contact PK Contracting and inform <br /> them of Brockton Iron& Steel's proposal to see it they can match it. <br /> i <br /> Meeting -November 6 1995 @ 9:00 a.m. to discuss the Ili h School treatment plant <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I have been having problems with the people out there in <br /> that parts of the treatment plant are being shipped in yet we still don't have anyone having <br /> pulling a permit." "I have been back and forth with Stone, Tom Wren and Wooddard and <br /> Curren." "We need to know who is going to be responsible for the installation of the <br /> treatment plant." "We should receive an answer at the meeting." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 15 Beechwood Drive <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "We received a call from the Fire Department today to inspect <br /> the premises at 15 Beechwood Drive." "The dwelling was a total shambles." "There are <br /> children there." "I having been dealing with the owner for seven or eight years and the <br /> situation has not changed." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "In the past we condemned the place and had the <br /> D.P.W. board it up." "She finally got power back on and we had to reopen the dwelling." <br />
