MINUTES December 7, 1995 2 BOARD OF HEALTH APPOINTMENT: Christine Farren - Illegal Dumping Mr. Joel Poilluci was in attendance representing Ms. Christine Farren. Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This was another routine inspection following up on a complaint from a neighbor walking down Noisy Hole Road." "I inspected the area and found a significant amount of evidence that household trash had been dumped on the dirt part of Noisy Hole Road with Christine Farren's name on numerous articles." "I issued a citation and subsequently Mr. Poilluci contacted me and relayed he was aware of the situation and had gone out and cleaned up the area." "I went out there and indeed the area was cleaned up to my satisfaction." Mr. Poilluci stated, "What happened is we must have lost trash out of the back of our truck." Mr. McQuaid commented, "There is enough circumstantial evidence that this was an accident. Mr. Cram motioned to rescind the illegal dumping fine issued to Ms. Christine Farren, Mr. Doherty seconded. APPOINTMENT: Dino Mitrokostas- John's Pond Center Mr. Dino Mitrokostas was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. Mr. Mitrokostas stated, "We are proposing to expand Finally Dino's." "There will be additional seating, the kitchen area will remain the same." "We are licensed for 48 seats." "The unit next to us will be our expansion area.." "The building department has approved expansion in the main dining room seating area from 48 to 40 seats, on the expanded side of the sports bar 28 seats and 12 bar stools, (40 seated and 18 standing)." Mr. McQuaid stated, "In my opinion the existing septic system will accommodate the increased seating." Mr. Cram motioned to approve plans as submitted, Mr. Doherty seconded. 3.) China Garden complaint - Mr. Doherty stated, "It has been determined the item found in the complainant's food was not of human nature but most likely a piece of ginger root." "The matter is closed."
