N 'LTTES December 21, 1995 4 BOARD OF IMALTH <br /> 9.) Request to close transfer station early on Christmas Eve - Mr. McQuaid relayed, <br /> "The contractor is requesting the Board's permission to close the transfer station early on <br /> Christmas Eve." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant permission for the landfill contractor to close the <br /> transfer station December 24, 1995 at 1:00 p.m., Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 10.) Revised-plans and perc extension request. 12 Squaws Lane - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, "The Board had previously reviewed plans and requested verification that there <br /> are no abutting wells within 100' and to raise the system 4" to ensure the 4' separation." <br /> "Revised plans were submitted with the changes requested." <br /> t <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a six month pert extension from the date of expiration, <br /> Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 11.) Proposed addition to Building A. Deer Crossing - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The <br /> owners would like to expand building A 5200 square feet towards Route 28." "The <br /> existing system is designed for 2750 gallons per day." "With this additional square <br /> footage the design calculations are 2705 gallons per day." "The existing system was over <br /> sized to begin with." "I would recommend the Beard require the.engineer to activate the <br /> reserve leaching area." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to forward Board of Health approval for the expansion with the <br /> stipulation the engineer activate the reserve leaching area, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> 12.) Bi-monthly transfer station/landfill inspection report- Acknowledged. <br /> 13.) Draft F.Y. `97 trash and department budgets - Board members will review the <br /> budget for comment at the next regularly scheduled meeting date. <br /> *** *NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Business merge - Thorne Clinic/Gosnold <br /> Vff. Evans relayed, "Thorne Clinic and Gosnold of Cape Cod are combining." <br /> "Once the merger is completed Thorne Clinic will include substance abuse treatrnerit and <br /> programs." <br /> Acknowledged. <br />
