MINUTES November 19, 1998 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> *****OLD BUSINESS***** <br /> 1999 Fee Schedule <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I recommend the Board eliminate the housing inspection <br /> fee and reinspecton fee." "The reason behind this is if I get a call from a tenant, who is <br /> most often on welfare and having problems with the landlord in not keeping the place up <br /> to snuff I feel uncomfortable in charging the tenant who has complaints against the <br /> landlord." "I don't have an objection to charging the landlord for the initial inspection <br /> when he first puts his property up for rent." <br /> Mr. Cram commented, "We could charge on a case by case basis." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to accept the 1999 fee schedule as presented with the <br /> exception of the housing inspection fee which may be waived on a case by case basis, Mr. <br /> Ball seconded. <br /> Denitrification Loadiniz Regulation <br /> Mr. Cram directed the agent to request the Town Planner's attendance at an <br /> upcoming meeting to discuss the dent. loading regulation. <br /> Health Department Building Permit Sign-off <br /> i <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to allow the administrative assistant to sign-off on building <br /> permits until such time as the assistant health agent's position has been filled, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Ball motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:35 p.m., Mr. <br /> Cram seconded. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Veronica Mayer, Adm.
