r <br /> MINUTES December 10, 1998 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball will research the matter. <br /> Transfer Station Incident <br /> Mr_ Doherty stepped down from this matter as he found it to be a conflict of <br /> interest. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "A resident dropped off a door by the Transfer Station." <br /> "Subsequently, another resident drove up to that area at which time the wind blew back <br /> the door which hit that residents car." "There was minor damage to the car." "In <br /> speaking with Mr. DiMaggio he informed me his insurance policy has a $500.00 <br /> deductible and claims it was an "Act of God"." "In my opinion, he should have a man on <br /> site to prevent such things from happening." "Mr. DiMaggio is asking the Board to <br /> render an opinion as to whether the wind was an"Act of God"." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "The Town of Mashpee should not be held responsible." <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "This matter is between the landfill contractor and the <br /> complainant." <br /> *****OLD BUSINESS***** <br /> Memo to Town Administrator re: Asst. Health Agent_position <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "I forwarded the memo to the Selectmen's office." "We <br /> have the in-house posting for the Adm. Sec.
