Mr.
Ball seconded the motion.
APPOINTMENT: Sasha Relic re: Massa e Therapist Permit.
Ms. Reljic was in attendance for her scheduled appointment.
Ms. Mayer stated, "Ms. Reljic has applied for a Massage Therapist Permit. She
took the test, which she failed. She was licensed in Croatia, however she has
no current licenses in any other towns nor has she taken the certified
therapeutic exam. She's requesting the Board's consideration in granting her a
permit without these qualifications which are normal requirements by the
Board."
Mr. Ball motioned to continue this request until after Ms. Reljic has re-taken
the exam with the assistance of a dictionary. Mr. Cram seconded the motion.
OLD BUSINESS
Proposed Nitrogen Loading Regulation
Mr. McQuaid stated, "We re-worded certain parts to make the IOppm and 600-
gallons per day consistent throughout the regulation and to include all
properties."
Mr. Ball motioned to approve the Nitrogen Loading Regulation as of this date
pending publication and a two-week comment period. Mr. Cassanelli requested
permission to start bringing in some of his equipment. We went through the
recycling area. There are some minor repairs that need to be done such as the
retaining bars around the recycling area. There are a couple of minor details
that need to be taken care of prior to July 1. Mr. DiMaggio gave his word that
the place will look spotless by the end of the month."
Recycling Committee
Ms. Mayer stated, "A Recycling Committee needs to be formed and it should
consist of a member of the Board of Health, a member of the Board of
Selectmen and three citizens at large. We need to go through the proper
channels to form this committee and advertise the positions to see what
experience people have."
