MINUTES November 16, 2000 _ 6 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> a. Air'Quality Test - Town Hall lower level <br /> Discussion took place regarding air quality testing in the lower level of Town <br /> Hall. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to direct the town to conduct air quality testing in the <br /> lower level of Town Hall pending consultation with Barnstable County Air <br /> Quality Specialist Marina Brock. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Mr. Ball <br /> did not vote. Motion passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. 128 Tide Run addition <br /> Ms. Warden stated that the builder would like to add a study and exercise room <br /> i <br /> to an existing three-bedroom dwelling. <br /> Board members requested having the builder and/or architect come before the <br /> Board to explain the project further. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> a. 135 Route 130 f Dimaggio property <br /> l <br /> Mr. Doherty stepped down from discussion on this matter. <br /> Ms. Warden stated the Selectmen appointed Fire Chief George Baker to oversee <br /> the entire situation at Mike's Service Station. NSER has been retained by Mr. <br /> DiMaggio to perform a tier 1 plan as required by the DEP. They will inspect the <br /> soils and monitor the underground storage tanks. Ms. Warden spoke with a <br /> representative of DEP and requested that they perform a site investigation, as <br /> did Mr. Whritenour and Chief Baker. DEP will further investigate the <br /> complaints and enforcement. A DEP representative will perform a site <br /> investigation and will contact Ms. Warden as to when this will be done. She <br /> indicated that she is still working with Barnstable County but that Chief Baker <br /> is now the lead contact on this process. <br /> b. Compactors <br /> Mr. Santos stated that the bids have been received for the compactors and that <br /> they have been sent to Weston and Sampson for review. DPW Director Gregory <br /> Taylor has been appointed to oversee the installation of the compactors <br /> Being no further business, Mr. Ball motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:32 p.m., Mr. <br /> Santos seconded, all agreed. <br /> Resp tf ly submitted, <br /> L cy B.
