COURTEMANCHE: Onlythe <br /> person or persons running the grant would <br /> be allowed to take shellfish out? <br /> R. COURTEMANCHE: Right. Once the grant is approved the only <br /> person that can remove shellfish, other than the owner of the <br /> grant, is by direct permission from the owner of the grant.' I <br /> Anybody caught in that area will be fined. II <br /> V. POCKNETT: This will pertain to the abuttors, too. They- have <br /> to go by our rules, too, right? <br /> R. COURTEMANCHE,: Any agreements between individuals and grantee <br /> is entirely up and over the law. it <br /> M. PHELPS: Will anybody from the Tribal Council be able to go j <br /> down there? <br /> V. POCKNETT: We' ll have to set up rules like the Town does. It ! ) <br /> will be regulated. <br /> E. TOBEY: Administor to the Tribal Council. This is not to be <br /> . set up communically. Anything that applies here, applies to a <br /> ! l Tribal Council member. We hope it to be a source of supply. An , <br /> a <br /> area where the men can find employment. I hope we can work <br /> together. I hope the abuttors will work with us and we can get <br /> together and work something out. Of course, that will be between <br /> cnpp us. Also, they will act as .guardians of the property. <br /> G. BENWAY: Do I understand the grant would be operated in the <br /> typical manner, but members of the Tribal Council, individuals , <br /> s by themselves, would not be able to go in and shellfish?
