The articles <br /> on compensation, Municipal Equipment and Repair Account, new fees , dump <br /> contractor, septage lagoons maintenance account, charter commission, Libra- <br /> ry, South Cape Beach State Park wage and expense account, fire mechanic , <br /> and the article on a used boat, motor and trailer were all approved. <br /> Executive Secretary clarified the article on the $ 1, 412 . 00 for police <br /> education incentive account to Selectmen and then the article wAP approved. <br /> Article for the Park and Recreation for $826 . 80 was <br /> approvea. On the civil defense article Executive Secretary is hoping <br /> to get an amount for the expenses to put into the article. <br /> Board recessed the Administrative meeting to start the Regular Meeting. <br /> Board returned to the Administrative meeting after discussion on moving <br /> of offices in the Town Hall. <br /> All the other articles were by-law changes and were approved. <br /> 9. ) Motion by Set. Garland to authorize the Community School Board to have <br /> $10 . 00 petty cash fund for the exclusive use of change in conjunction <br /> with the snack bar. The money is to be turned in at the end of each <br /> school year. Seconded by Chm. Thomas . This is a vote . <br /> 10 . ) On the letter from the Superintendent of Schools , Dr. Nicholson, the <br /> Executive Secretary said that at this point no action is being requested <br /> as Dr. Nicholson said that this is an advisory and you can anticipate <br /> that further information will be coming from his office concerning the <br /> stoves . Sel. Garland wants to know if Mr. Carr sent them to our school. <br /> He can not understand if we ordered two ranges for the school. He feels <br /> that someone must of talked to somebody. Executive Secretary said we <br /> have no record that they are Sandwich' s stoves . Sel. Garland feels that <br /> someone must have a delivery ticket on these stoves . Executive Secretary <br /> that there must of been one at one time, but we only have to keep those <br /> records for two years . Sel. Garland said they are making assumptions . <br /> Executive Secretary recommends the Board waits until we get more info-- <br /> mation. <br /> 15 . ) Executive Secretary said that he has tried to reach Mr. Frank Argus on <br /> the telephone at several different times because he knows that he wants <br /> to serve on the committee. He has decided to send him a letter asking <br /> Mr. Argus to contact him. Board agreed. <br /> 16 . ) Chm. Thomas said she called Mr. Chester Brown and asked him to serve on <br /> the Building Committee , He replied that he is away alot and isn' t inte- <br /> rested, but he has suggested a Mr. John Whiley. She contacted Mr. <br /> Whiley, who will speak to his wife about it. Chm. Thomas would like to <br /> get this going so they could present something at the Annual Town Meeting. <br /> 17. ) Chm. Thomas asked if there is enough members to call a meeting of the <br /> Historic Committee . Executive Secretary stated that there is . <br /> 18. ) Discussion followed about the moving of offices in the Town Hall. Execu- <br /> tive Secretary said he is doing nothing on this at this time, because <br /> of the relocating of telephones which is a major concern and because of <br /> the cost involved. Board suggest this be differed until it is more <br /> feasible. Chm. Thomas would like to see the Building Inspector and <br /> the Planning Board get in one office to organize the maps .
