The <br />endowment account is up 12% at $361,000, which is up $54,000 from a year ago. <br /> <br />th <br />Right now, they are working on getting more sponsors for the mini golf tournament on April 18. <br />They are up to $1,000 in sponsorship. The library will be celebrating its birthday! <br /> <br />Friends would like to help with the Children’s Room. They are looking into another Books in <br />Bloom at New Seabury in the fall and will look into possible dates. <br /> <br />Trustee Advocacy <br />th <br />Ann Macdonald and Joan Lyons will be presenting at Southport on May 6 from 11:00a.m.- <br />12:00p.m. for the segment on Mondays called A Day in the Life. Nobody from the Library staff <br />could do it so the Trustees will deliver. They are going to talk about Hoopla and Press Reader. <br />There are so many non-library things that go on here. Southport has their own book clubs and <br />their own library. They will wrap up their presentation with pictures from the animal sleepover <br />when the kids dropped of their stuffed animals for a sleepover in the library. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION: <br />Ann Macdonald made a motion to adjourn the meeting of the Library Trustees at <br />7:25p.m. Seconded by Ruth Nickerson.
